Enver Yücel is the Founder and Chairman of BAU Global and Bahçeşehir Ugur Educational Institutions (BUEI), Turkey's largest private education provider. Mr. Yücel is considered one of Turkey's leading educational experts from pre-K through university education. His innovative ideas and practices are at the forefront of educational development in Turkey and around the world. He was awarded the "Outstanding Service Award" by the National Turkish Grand Assembly in 2008 and the "Education Award" by the American Turkish Council in 2010. In 2014, Mr. Yücel received the UNCA Special Award for his contribution to global education, becoming the first Turkish person to receive this honor from UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.
